At 8:30, all monks at Tōdai-ji temple depart from the Great Buddha Hall and visit the Mausoleum of Emperor Shōmu and Empress Komyo and offer prayers.

At around 11:00, the ceremony of Kencha by Urasenke style (offering tea to Vairocana-Buddha) is held at the Great Buddha Hall.

※Please note that during the ceremony of Kencha, the worshiping route will be changed at the Great Buddha Hall.  The Great Buddha cannot be worshiped from the front.
